Round Face Wig Styles

Filed under: Hair Loss Information — Marilyn Robinson @ 1:49 pm

Is your face round? Are you having trouble picking out the perfect hairstyle that would complement your face? Don?t worry, because you are not alone. Many women also share this dilemma of finding the best hairstyle that would suit their round visage.
A round face is generally as wide as it is long in the dimensional sense. The hairline in a round face is often wide, and the cheeks are usually full. This facial shape also sometimes makes the neck seem shorter.

There is no hard and fast rule to creating the perfect hairstyle suitable for round faces. Most hairstyles designed for the round face, however, aim to make the face appear thinner and longer. They are also meant to direct the eyes away from the fullness of the cheeks. A woman with a round face may want to consider these two things whenever she is trying to fix her hair in a more flattering manner.

There are a few things that you may want to try out whenever you are styling your hair or getting your hair done in a salon. You could opt for short hairstyles that add length to your face, or those with the sides cut short or close to the face. Layered bangs also give the illusion of length to the face and should be chosen rather than the straight or heavy bangs; heavy or straight bangs seem to squash the face rather than lengthen it. Curls are also good, although they should be kept away from the cheeks. A bob cut above the chin will look nice for women with double chins rounding off their already round faces, while cropped hair may seem best to make a short neck appear longer.

Healthy Foods for a Healthly Lifestyle/Hairloss Info

Healthy Foods for a Healthy Lifestyle
There are several fad diets that will lead to successful weight loss if you follow them exactly as they are designed. That doesn’t mean every food that fits into a diet is a healthy food, but it does mean you have to change your eating patterns to fit the diet’s rules.
Rather than worry about following a fad diet, think about your health and your lifestyle instead. Start by learning which foods are good for you.

Healthy Foods to Eat
The closer a food is to its natural state, the better it is for you. Fresh fruits and berries are great and will satisfy a craving for sweets. Whole vegetables have lots of vitamins and minerals, so eat more green, orange and yellow vegetables. Steam them to retain the most nutritional value and be careful with sauces, they may be high in calories and fats that aren’t good for you.
Any pasta or baked goods should be made from whole grains. Avoid sugary snacks and pastries as well. An apple is good for you, an apple pie really isn’t.

Shop for lean meats and don’t forget the fish. The omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids in ocean fish are often deficient in our diets, so serve seafood two or three times per week. Baked fish and chicken are healthier than fried, and lean meats like bison or venison may be healthier than higher fat beef.

Processed lunch meats, hot dogs, bacon, and sausages have a lot of saturated fat and nitrates in them you don’t want in your body. If you love these meats, you can find healthier versions sold at health food stores.

Remember to eat a variety of foods to get all of the vitamins and minerals you need to be healthy.

Stick to water, milk and 100% fruit and vegetable juices as your main beverages and limit sugary soft drinks. If you get tired of plain water, add a slice of lemon or lime to add a touch of flavor. For kids, try some fruit juice jazzed up with carbonated water.

Hair Loss/Eyeliner Tips

Filed under: Hair Loss Information — Marilyn Robinson @ 2:47 pm

One of the most important eyeliner tips and tricks for application is to apply the eyeliner in short, feathery strokes. A long, continuous line is almost impossible for the unpracticed hand to create and is unnecessary, except for some extremely bold and dramatic styles.

A basic everyday eyeliner look can be achieved quickly and easily using a soft Kohl pencil. Simply line the top lid from about halfway across to the outer corner of the lid.
Pull the skin taut with your non-dominant hand and use the other hand to apply the eyeliner in short strokes. You can start from the outside corner and work in, or start at the halfway mark and work out. Use a smudger or simply a cotton swab to smudge the line. Next, apply your normal eyeshadow directly on the eyeliner, which will help prevent smearing. Now, use a cake eyeliner or eyeshadow to line the lower lashes, again working only from the halfway point. Clean up any mistakes with a fresh cotton swab.

For a more mysterious evening look, follow the steps above but continue both the top lid line and the lower line all the way to the inner corner. Smudge liberally and set with a dark and smoky eyeshadow shade.

A truly bold look can be achieved once you perfect the art of applying liquid eyeliner. Use the eyeliner on both the top and bottom lash lines, again starting at approximately the halfway point. Instead of stopping at the end of the lash line, allow the two lines to meet at the outside corner. Then angle a line up at approximately 45 degrees from that corner and extend it all the way up to the outside corner of the eyebrow. This is an extremely dramatic look that requires a practiced hand, so be sure to perfect the technique in advance.

A still bold but less dramatic effect, often known as the cat’s eye look, can be achieved by applying eyeliner to the inner rather than outer rims of the eye.
A hard pencil or crayon is best for this, as the chance of getting eyeliner into your eye is reduced. However, if you have a very steady hand, liquid eyeliner will provide the best results.

Experiment with different colors of eyeliner.
Many women find that basic black eyeliner is too harsh for their skin tone. Consider a charcoal or brown liner for your everyday look. At night, drama is the secret to looking mysterious. Find bold colors that enhance the color of your eyes and the color of your outfit. Purple, green and even red eyeliners work well at night. Another of the professional makeup artists’ eyeliner tips and tricks is to add a bit of white or silver at the inside corners of the eyes or even along the inner rim of the eyelids. This gives an instant boost to tired or droopy eyelids.
